smart jewellery

Brief

This fresh start-up wants to enter the market with smart jewellery. Primarily, the company equipped pendants, rings and Swarovski crystals with nano QR codes. This is a security step to protect sensitive family photos. At the same time, a collection of cherished family moments is elegantly cast in a giftable form. Our brief was to design a mobile application. We aim to create an elegant but fresh and easy to use app for people with a low tech background.

Challenge

The age range of our target group was extensive. Therefore, we had to pay particular attention to different habits and user barriers.

UX/UI Design

Our goal was to create an easy-to-use, friendly but elegant app so that our users can easily ‘Carry your Cherish Memories’.
Data security was an important consideration for our users. Many of them have had a bad experience with different cloud storage. So it became crucial for us to incorporate multi-step authentication into the design.
The albums can be easily tagged and even have small diaries and stories attached to them. The people in the photos can be named to help users with dementia due to age or health conditions.
The various filtering functions make it easy to find the album you want or the photos. You can even narrow to people to quickly find all the pictures of the person you are looking for.
